Reactions in the Colony to British foreign policy.

(ii) in un interview given to the Press by the Chinese

Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Liu Shieh-Hsun, a

question was put as to what significance attached to the

Parliamentary Mission about to visit China, Mr. Liu replied

that it was a mission of goodwill to China and that China

Was pleased and grateful. lle firmly believed that as the

Mission woulu be in China for one month and friendly

relations between the two countries would no doubt be

further strengthened.
